The Project

Great British Brand is a free, open national brand library. It provides documented brand assets — flags, colours, typography, voice and institutional references — in a single, accessible place.

Britain is the sixth largest economy in the world with some of the most recognisable national symbols and institutions on earth. Yet anyone who needs a correctly specified Union Jack or an NHS blue has to hunt through stock sites or scattered government portals. This exists to fix that.

Licence

All original assets produced by this project are free to use for any purpose — commercial or personal — with no attribution required.

Flag assets are reproduced under Open Government Licence v3.0. Institutional brand assets remain the property of their respective owners; this library documents them for reference only and links to official sources.

What This Is Not

This is not an official government resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or representing any government department, public body or institution documented within it.

Colour values and specifications are documented to the best of our knowledge from publicly available sources — for production use, always verify against the institution's own published guidelines.
